We had excursions every other island and the islands we didn’t we took a cab and found something cool to do each day. Didn’t hit Jamaica but if you find a good deal get it and then figure out each island and you can have a full days experience at each. We started ours and ended it in Barbados and decided to spend an extra three nights there and it was fun just hanging by the beach and exploring the island for multiple days. The nice thing about a cruise is you can spend enough time on each island to get a taste for it if you want, or like many they don’t leave the port area shops and beach and instead complain about not seeing the whole island. We rented a car the day on one of the islands and it was a blast hiking the rain forest and finding a hot spring to soak in up in the jungle. A cruise is what you make of it, most people that don’t like them spent too much time in the buffet line or shopping on island tourist row, instead of getting out and finding something unique about each place to do.
