Yea. I do 72 hour call shifts. The whole thing is so dangerous for our health
And patients. No one’s mind is working at that point. At some point the profession will have to change.

Ridiculous part is most of my sleep is interrupted by nonsense that a high school kid could do (nurse needing Tylenol).. then after 54 hours with only interrupted sleep I’ll have to do a 2 hour life saving procedure all because we can’t figure out a way to protect the sleep of our doctors
