Talk to the homeless on the streets in the big cities and they're usually from smaller towns or less tolerant bigger cities of the interior. Vegas has a lot of homeless who migrated there for construction work, got hurt on the job, and then got an addiction to painkillers. Or people with gambling addictions that lost everything.
