I do the same thing..

I've been saving up for a 'dream' car for ~25 years... While that dream car has changed over time, and that money has been put to MUCH better use at times (kids, vacations.. etc) it's nice/fun to have.

Now that I'm at the point to buy a 'dream car'... I keep finding excuses not to do it 🙂
