Your math doesn't add up..
I pay $30 every six months on my comprehensive insurance ($250 deductible) coverage on a 2019 Volvo SUV.
I pay $55 every six months on my comprehensive insurance ($250 deductible) coverage on a 2019 BMW sedan.
$170 a year covers ~$120k worth of cars.
I would have to own the BMW for 500 years before what I pay in comprehensive coverage equals the cost of the car replacement. (even if you add in depreciation.. which let's be honest.. is huge on a BMW).
