Once I had enough saved for it, I couldn’t pull the trigger. I bought a low mileage used truck instead and kept saving. It’s about time to buy my wife a newer vehicle but the car account has grown enough that we decided to put off buying a car for another 18 months and we’ll use that money to pay off the mortgage and be completely debt free.

Lots of financial freedom after that.
