Pope in one season turned this around and the improvements from last year's team was great. We did much better hitting the wide open threes which translated to a great percentage for the year. We need to be hitting those 70+% of the time which will balance out the contested threes. In past years I felt like we rarely made wide open threes.
Haarms will be interesting to see his improvement this year and how many threes he shoots. I know he shot a few at Purdue, but I believe Pope sees his potential which will help his stock at the next level. I believe this was one of the main selling points that convinced Haarms to come to BYU.
