In line with Sliver, rankings this year are a one off
Normal year you have non-conference games that put the power five on top and keep the group of 5 out of the rankings except for the top 2-3.
Just a crazy year that has allowed teams ie Coastal Carolina that would never be scratching the rankings until maybe 8-0 or 9-0 with power five teams racking up losses
