You said if Oregon drops to 15 everybody moves up a spot and we're the same - that's one way of looking at it.
But if you are saying "BYU needs to be ranked X to get a spot" then where Oregon/USC or OU/Iowa St are matters.

BYU needs to be at #9 in the final poll to be guaranteed a NY6 spot. No #9 team has ever been left out of a NY6.
