I'm not ignoring that at all. BYU needs to pass 3 teams in the rankings. Those
teams need to come from the ACC, SEC, big 10 and big 12. There isn't anyone ahead of them in the p12. Anyone who says "we want BYU in the top 12" is missing the mark. We want BYU above enough teams to get an auto bid. Right now they need to pass 3 teams, regardless of what the P12 does.
If you want to talk about subjectivity BYU is screwed and it doesn't matter. I don't see how the p12 finishing higher or lower in the rankings makes 1 lick of difference for where they rank BYU compared to Indiana, Miami, Northwestern, Iowa State, etc...
