She's clearly an excellent soccer player with a gun for a leg. There is absolutely no reason why she couldn't kick a football reasonably well. All that she was asked to do in her only opportunity was a squib and she did it well.

Yes, the distance to midfield where it was kicked was about the same as the distance to the baseline where it landed
