Finding out your 15 year old daughter is pregnant and finding out your dad's dad
is not his biological father.

Daughter ended up doing the best thing by placing the child for adoption. Great family through LDS adoption services, open and she keeps in contact with them.

As for my dad, his mom was married and had my dad. Got divorced and then remarried to my Grandpa, who I guess ended up adopting my dad but he was 8 at the time. It was very taboo back then to get divorced so my Grandma and Grandpa kept it secret including my dad not saying anything.

I found out from my sister-in-law when my brother started doing genealogy it listed my dads biological father on his birth certificate. I didn't really care as the person I know as my Grandpa is and will always be my Grandpa, what I was disappointed about was my parents not being upfront with me. I get not telling my cousins from his siblings, but to not tell all of the kids at some point. It was already out there and going to come out. I would have preferred to hear it from my parents instead of the way I did.
