Similar thing happened to my daughter except her ex broke the news on New Year’s

Eve. She was left holding the bag with 18 month old twin daughters at the time. Thankfully we lived nearby and she had a good gig teaching 2nd grade on a 4 day school week. In hindsight, it was the best thing that could have happened to her, though definitely tough at the time.
