My parents turned their basement into a MIL suite

when it was time for grandma to move in with someone, all her kids in unison said we know the perfect landing spot for you aka my parents' basement. And then all of them told my parents that charging her rent wasn't moral. So they've been foregoing income the last decade to accommodate grandma while the other kids don't contribute at all.
