If it is greasy, you may want to try some form of industrial grease cleaner.
Oven cleaner might work. If it is calcium, you may want to try a stronger acid like comet bathroom cleaner.

That probably means your dishwasher isn’t draining all the way. Check to see if your filter is clogged.
