Not super surprised but disappointed
He had a really nice second half of the season. 4000 yards. Won a playoff game and almost beat Buffalo.
He had another season left in him. I thought the Colts would bring him back. If not, I was hoping the 49ers would bring him in to bridge the gap to whatever qb they draft. Rivers would have been perfect for Shanahan's offense. He was the ultimate dinker and dunker. San Francisco needs a qb that can get the ball to Aiyuk, Deebo, Mostert, Kittle, and Wilson on time, on target, and let them run.
