Aaron Rodgers has 9 pro bowls in 13 seasons as starter, 2 1st team All pro and 1 (possibly 2 after this year) MVPs he's also a superbowl MVP. If you find a stat that says Philip Rivers has been better than Aaron Rodgers, then there is something wrong with that stat.
Philip Rivers has 8 pro bowls in 15 seasons as starter, no 1st team all pro and no superbowl appearances. His playoff stats would barely be starter level.
Tony Romo only had 8 full seasons healthy as a starter and got 4 pro bowls, so yes the 2 are comparable, other than what? Longevity.
Like I've said, I don't doubt if he will be a HOF, but I don't think he should. Much like how I don't think a lot of players should be but got in because they were on the Cowboys or Steelers.
