radio to school with an earphone to listen to the games at recess. Since I sat in the back row of my fifth grade class, I snuck a listen every now and then during class too. I was antsy and distracted all day, and I'm sure my friends thought I was really weird spending my recesses that way.

As soon as school ended, my mom picked me up and drove me straight from north Orem to the game. I didn't get there in time to see much, but I vividly remember jumping for joy at the last out.

I'm a fifth grade teacher now, and looking back on it, there is no way my teacher didn't notice what I was doing with the not so small radio and the earphone. But I was basically an angel as a student, so I'm sure she gave me the benefit of the doubt.

BYU baseball is my all-time favorite sport, and my sports dream is to see them make it to Omaha. I'd find a way to get there.
