I'm agreeing with you. It's hard to do
It's interesting that BYU football was so aggressive with scheduling a full schedule of games and even wanted to add games. But when it comes to fan attendance, BYU is playing it safe to the extreme. Hard to reconcile these two positions

It is incredibly expensive to staff and operate an arena with fans as opposed to no fans for event. It’s a $$ decision

We run an arena and stadium in my city- I know the costs, and we don’t donate the concessions $$ like BYU
