I would say he's pretty smart. Smart enough to get like 40 million out of these University Presidents and also a 1.9 million dollar loan interest free that he's never paid back to buy his home.... The University Presidents are the idiots here for supporting this guy for so long.

The next commissioner needs to have his or her head on straight and realize that mostly football and to a lesser extent basketball drives the bus. As commissioner, you need to make them a priority as much as you legally can. You also need to remind the University Presidents of the financial holes they are currently in and that trying to promote Olympic Sports at the expense of Football and to a lesser extent Basketball is going to be a slow death sentence for the conference. Money talks. We'll see if these Presidents listen or if they continue down the rocky road they are on.
