In the summer of '81 my dad and a neighbor friend took me and my neighbor's son
to go see a kids movie at Carillon Square in Provo. I want to say it was The Great Muppet Caper. This neighbor of ours was a bit of a character...I could always tell my dad's wasn't overly fond of him.

We get to the theater and neighbor talks my dad into seeing something else that we'd enjoy more. So for the next couple of hours, 7 year old me sat with my dad and our neighbor and his five year old son, watching For Your Eyes Only. The opening credits were enough to change my world.

My dad apologized to me afterwards...I forgave him.
