They didn’t have any service other than the old antenna and it was a Sunday night in the summer so nothing was on. The channel got flipped to PBS and some nature show was on. It was boring but it helped with the awkward silence. My then fiancé left the room to go get a drink or something and then the mating rituals of the animal we were watching started. Here I am about to marry their only daughter and this is on. Never have I felt so uncomfortable in my life.
