Not with my dad while he listened, but George Michael caused some awkwardness
When I was in high school we would borrow the Suzuki Samurai that my dad drove to work sometimes on nights and weekends. I was the oldest of the kids and owned most of the music (this is the 80s, so mostly cassette tapes, starting to get into CDs). It was not unusual for dad to come into the house after work whistling one of the songs on a tape someone left in the Samurai from my collection. Dad would just listen to whatever was in the tape deck from us while he drove. Not necessarily his preference in music, but I think he liked much of what we listened to. My brother drove the Samurai on a date and left the George Michael Faith cassette in the Samurai. Needless to say, dad was not smiling or whistling when he walked in the house after work that day. Many good songs on that tape that dad would have enjoyed. However, I Want Your S## was not one of them. That was awkward...
