The industry has changed w/o them keeping up. 3 1/2 yrs ago we had 3 realtors look at our house & say
at what price they would listed it. This was before the huge sellers marker we're in now. We decided to do it ourselves for about $20k more based on our own research and knowing the area. From one FB post w/ good pictures, we had multiple offers & it went to 1st people to look for full-price cash offer w/ 3 back up offers. People are able to do the majority of the leg work themselves on line if you just have access to the MLS. That's the only real corner they have.
Of course, you can't be dumb about it and need to know how to stage a house free of clutter & mannequins. 😉
