The offer of a free pair of shoes drew Gideon George to first try basketball in Nigeria. Now at BYU, he has helped send more than 350 pairs home so other kids might have the same chance.

I think this depends on the position the kid plays to a degree. I think a lot of upper level QBs had the money to spend
