The thing I really appreciated about Alex is that he doesn't have to "get his". If he is a focal point in the defense he will simply look for opportunities to impact the game in other ways. He rarely forces shots and it appears as though he is the consummate teammate who has earned the respect of his team. Other times when there are openings he will shoot confidently and score 20+ and help the team win that way. He is extremely efficient.
It felt like Matt would have benefited from picking his spots more. He was a solid b-ball player, but sometimes it looked like he felt he was entitled to the shot volume of an elite player.
