At WCC tourney warm-ups, I'd always get hopes up watching Matt hit every shot he took, long threes, off balance fade-aways. He seemed to be in a zone and I anxiously looked forward to seeing him going off in games. When it counted though, his shots clanged and just looked different, along with silly turnovers or drives into a congested key. Guess I shouldn't have gone early to get my hopes up...
