an injury or a bad situation and it can all go south. I'm not completely sold on Wilson being a starting NFL QB. Part of me wants to believe it will all work out for him. But it has been a long time since BYU produced a consistent NFL starter. And this senior year was different because he was playing against lesser competition and against competition that was affected by COVID and COVID training camps etc. It was a WEIRD year. I thought he had a phenomenal senior season. I think he earned a shot at the NFL with that season. But I never would have thought he'd be talked about being picked #2. He should thank Mahomes for all the crazy stuff he does...because without that comparison i think Wilson falls a little bit. Everyone wants the next Mahomes. Wilson did an imitation of him at BYU this year...and everyone wants to believe that could possibly translate. But who knows.
