How could prices not fall significantly when moratorium on evictions ends?

I saw a CNN article the other day with a headline that read something like "Home prices rising with no end in sight"; but although the moratorium was just pushed until the end of June, it can't last forever; Isn't that an end in sight?  There's a huge number of renters who haven't paid rent and homeowners who haven't paid mortgages throughout pandemic.  Once evictions start, won't that bring about a decline in housing market?
