Depends on if you were also in a Seinfeld episode or not. Generally speaking you stay out of crap like that. But I think
you step in to break up a fight or protect a person from getting beat up. That puts you at risk, but is still probably the right attitude for a community to have is you step in to protect vulnerable people. But I don't think you step in to protect merchandise from a big box retailer.
