growing problems in this country is the increasing apathy toward crime and corruption.

"not my responsibility"
"not my business"
"its a large corporation so its fine"

All of that may be true but we should be honest with ourselves. Crime should not be tolerated and citizens should do their part. Again that doesn't mean wear a cape and swing from buildings all night, but at least try. Those Milwaukee tools were worth only a couple hundred dollars but the crime is the real problem, not the value of what was stolen.

"Not my problem" is a unfortunately the default as people look to government to solve all their problems and refuse to take personal responsibility. When we don't take personal responsibility we contribute to the degradation of society. Don't jump in front of a gun or get involved if you're not physically capably, but at least give a crap about your community.
