You said it yourself. “It was not the school.” My point in this whole post was to say “it’s not the school.” If Harding was going to be successful in his life after BYU, he isn’t all of a sudden going to NOT be successful just because he went to UVU.
I don’t disagree that there are times/places where a name matters and I’m not about to argue that overall BYU carries a more powerful name than does UVU. I’m saying on an individual basis, the difference between going to BYU vs UVU won’t determine a person’s success in life.
