of the "smaller clubs" not being able to compete with the big clubs financially. Until they get some sort of salary cap/transfer cap the big clubs will always be the big clubs because they have the money and resources to support a big salary cap and larger transfer fees.

If FIFA/UEFA isn't going to address the financial imbalance, then this league will at least put teams together that play in the same financial arena. Which should result in more intriguing games every week.
