team ranked at #42. OSU is the next ranked team at #73. Shows the committee has little respect for B10 women's soccer. I guess the B10 is not P5 when it comes to women's soccer. ACC on the other hand is highly ranked every year. But I imagine they actually talk and watch the games because the WCC has Santa Clara at 8 and BYU at 21 and then it's a dumpster fire from there (next teams are 134, 135, 164 and up).
BYU getting some love but I think the committee probably felt five of sixteen seeds going to one conference may have been too much and VA had the lowest RPI of the five so they dropped them to a fishtail match.
