Was really bad, crippling pain. I did a cortizone shot that really helped. Then therapy helped a lot but never had a ton of confidence in my back for about 10 years.
What has helped me is cycling, get the core stronger. Every once in a while I'm reminded that it is still there and I need to be careful. Good form on lifting.
Get the swelling down, work out (do what a PT tells you to do) and be patient in the healing process.
