Yes. It was crippling. I thought I was seriously messed up.
After months of no relief I went to a PT who had me start strengthening my core through exercises. It healed completely. Amazing really. I was very athletic but hadn’t done core work. The stress of working on my thesis and slumping in my chair had caused my lower back muscles to tense up and not release. Strengthening the muscles surrounding it finally allowed it to do so.
