True that this incident occurred within the original management area but
without control the “bear’s turf” is rapidly expanding. Outlying farms and communities now have Grizzlies by them for the first time in over one hundred years.
Last summer one was spotted a little North of the Utah state line. That scenario wasn’t thought to be possible for decades to come.
