Really? You don't believe that an animal that can have a home range of 1k square
miles could connect with the same animal that's 350 miles away.....?
Also, the elk go to the feed grounds because they've been conditioned to via positive reinforcement since the early 1900's, not because their migration is prevented via man-made structures.
