Single payer may very well work better in other countries than in the US
But having gone through the horrors of our system, I’m willing to give it a shot.
Of course, some people will abuse the system but in my mind it’s worth it if many other hard-working families avoid worrying about putting food on the table or paying rent because of insane healthcare costs.
