Single payer solves nothing. I am not sure the reason why you don’t have health
Insurance. And I am not casting any judgement. But, if you took the risk of not having insurance, when you otherwise could have, then you have little to complain about.
The main problem with Obamacare is that the penalty for not having insurance was not as high or higher than having a commercial insurance policy. If the penalty was higher, more healthy patients would have insurance and policies would be less expensive for everyone.
