It’s all relative

He’s previously said that a factor in flipping from Boise state to BYU was a MWC schedule vs an independent schedule. Playing 5-7 p5’s on espn is a significant upgrade over the MWC and more exposure than most schools save the top half of the SEC.

BYU's schedule is never going to be top 10 or whatever. But it's a strong P5-level schedule pretty much every year
