You'd consider BYU vs Oregon is a marquee game, but USC vs Oregon doesn't count because "it's a conference game"?

The reality is that BYU generally plays 4 or 5 P5 teams. A P5 team, even one that plays a pretty weak OOC (see Utah) most often ends up with 10 P5 opponents. This year we're at 7 so closer, but unless we're considering Arizona State, Arizona, Baylor, Virginia, Washington State or Utah as marquee games (hint: they're not), we still have fewer P5 opponents than a USC or even a Utah and fewer marquee matchups.

That's just the reality of where BYU is - stuck in the middle. Our schedule and matchups are well ahead of G5 schools, but they're absolutely not P5 level at this point. We're somewhere in between.
