The article does a great job of why it’s more likely the CFB jumps to 12+ teams.

Players opting out of bowl games seems to be a large catalyst for playoff expansion.

Probably should be. 12-16 at least gives smaller schools a chance at it though. Why I prefer 16 with no byes.
