We defended him much better the 2nd time around...
...the key is not to fall for his head fakes, his flopping, his jumping sideways into defenders, etc and just stay in front of him with your feet on the ground. He's not quick enough to get around guys so he resorts to cheap gimmicks to try and get defenders off their feet so he can draw cheap fouls. In the game in 2019 Haws did a poor job defending him and seemed to fall for his stupid antics. In 2020 AB and BA both did a really good job staying on the ground and just keeping themselves in front of him. Jones found it difficult to get penetration and couldn't get to the FT or get any open looks.

Opposing teams have figured him out and that's why he struggled this year.
