I love the Seamaster—it’s unquestionably superior to the Sub from a technical standpoint—and I think the blue Omega uses is just so sharp.
As far as the replica are concerned, some watches have an authentic and personal connection, but not all, and I’ve got to assume that the reps scratch the “What would a Panerai look like on my wrist today?” itch without you dropping $8k to find out.
