I have been in 3, 1 my fault and 2 the others but in cars you are protected and i have never been remotely hurt. If any of those accidents happened on a bike or motorcycle there would be serious injuries. It is just a matter of time. I used to road ride a lot but with the proliferation of texting I almost exclusively mountain bike now. There are lots of injuries with mountain bikes they are usually not as bad as colliding with a car.
