How much does Windows 10 cost? How long does Google support Pixels phones?
... and I really don't understand your argument saying Mac's hold their value better. So you pay $900 for a Macbook, then turn around and sell it 5 years later at a high price!!! OH NO!!
... and you can continue to ignore the fact that a Mac is the EXACT same price as Dell/HP.. etc. (And that DELL/HP/ETC do not hold their value)
... and you buy the exact same DONGLES for a Mac that you do for a Microsoft Surface (which the current 4th gen Microsoft Surface has the same number of ports, is more expensive, and SLOWER)
.. and you can ignore the fact that you can get the top iPhone (12 Pro Max) for $299 right now by trading in a 5-YEAR-OLD phone.
So you just keep fighting the good fight.

Actually, it really isn't very different in cost. Can you get a Suburban for quite a bit less? Absolutely.
