Each kid is different. Some you can spank all day long and it does no good, and

others it's the most effective thing you can do. When I was a kid, if you gave me a guilt trip, grounded me, or sent me to my room it was nothing. But if my Dad spanked me with his big bear-paw hands it got my attention.

Spanking has been really rare for my girls, my boys not so much.....
