Question- does a world record count if his IV treatment would count as doping?

The guys mental fortitude is amazing. I’ve followed them throughout the journey, but it seems like he’s been violating doping rules with the amount of treatments he is receiving.

I guess my question is- if he were in a sanctioned event usada would be suspending him unless he has a TUE in place. So with that, is a world record formally recognized?

This isn’t meant to be a hateful post- more of a general inquiry

Half is my favorite distance. The utah half is FAST if you want a good time.
