Do you have any favorite courses I should look at?

I definitely over-trained for my first sprint tri. I remember getting done and thinking "that's it?" I could've gone and done another a few minutes later easily.

The Olympic distance is more fun and feels like you've done something. It still doesn't require a ton of training to finish - but if you want to place, then you're working hard.

I imagine bumping up to a half is similar in that it now requires that you do some training and prep work to finish - though I can see how you're saying an hour a day is likely plenty if you don't have aspirations to place.
